The Life and the Times of Justin Bacon: Introductions

Every soul has a way that it expresses itself, whether it be through art, music, culinary prowess, or plumbing, heating and air. No one should ever stray from the thing that they truly love, they should embrace it and mold their passion.

This is something I live by everyday and one could say it is how I describe my life in a summarily short way. However, no one wants to dive into a post about someone just to find out that they still know nothing about them. So, I think I'll entertain you all, just a bit.

My name is Justin Bacon, I live in the southern city/state of Swannanoa, North Carolina. I know it sounds like the Samoan name of some native wildlife, but I assure you it's a town. I am a part time college student, striding towards my goals to become an aspiring artist...and maybe a few other things along the way. I love singing and music, which is why I intend to audition for American Idol this following season. I love to write and see stories unfold before my very eyes, despite how challenging sitting down and writing a book can be, but, it is all worth it in the end. I'm in the process of writing my first zombie novel (which I'll talk a bit more about in another post). You could say I have many passions, and that is why I love the life I was blessed with.

After I get my two year degree in Fine Arts, I hope to travel to Clemson University, in Clemson, South Carolina and take part in their Japanese language courses, perhaps even study abroad in Japan. I love everything about the Japanese people, I love their culture, their language, and I especially love their food (delicious).

Unfortunately Japan is shambles due to the unexpected twenty foot tsunami that crashed against their home a few weeks ago. If you are interested in donating to help aid Japan in its dire times, please follow this link https://american.redcross.org/site/Donation2?idb=0&5052.donation=form1&df_id=5052 to the American Red Cross Association's page for Japan earthquake relief. Donating ten dollars could help them more than you know.

That's enough from me for right now, if you have any questions, suggestions, concerns, or you simply want to say 'What's up?!' then please leave a comment, e-mail, or message me on YIM. Don't forget to check out my post explaining what I'll be doing in this blog all the while explaining a bit more about myself.

Arigatou Gozaimasu!
