The Life and Times of Justin Bacon: Insight

I often find my self diving into my subconsciousness and finding sparks of creation. Fanning these sparks into flames of expression has become my escape from life's rough edges and I hope to share that sense of weightless freedom with you all, as a matter of fact that is exactly what I am about to do.

  • Act not on emotions alone, lest you face the wrath of chaos. Do not let logic take over your spirit, lest you surrender what makes you an Individual.

  • Even if making the right decision causes others to doubt you, some to be disappointed in you, the rest giving you the 'fools' title, and your day seems darker than black--look up, the decision you have made will open a gateway to something you would never have expected.

  • What part of you're day makes it any different from the last? What separates it from an ordinary, repetitive day? Is it a memory, an event, perhaps that certain someone? Whatever makes you're day the one to remember, do so with pride and with your mind in the present. There is no past, there is no future, only the current day by which we perceive.
I am happy that I was able to share some insightful, expressive, quotes with you all. If you have any questions about my quotes, please comment or contact me.

The Life and the Times of Justin Bacon: The Mission

When someone makes a blog, whether for business, entertainment, or personal purpose, they always have a goal set in their minds. My goal is to is to show the people of this world that I'm here and I'm ready to be known. So that I can make this happen, I'm now going to share with you what I intend to put in my blog.

  • Flash Fiction - This is where the writer uses a plethora of gripping descriptive words to tell a story or tale in short paragraph or two.

  • Artwork - I intend to put several pictures of my artwork on the site, in hopes that it will start to be recognized. I'll be posting everything from my DWG 113 classwork from school to my manga and abstract pieces.

  • Photography - I like taking pictures, and I know everyone likes to look at them. So as I go along I will put up pictures from my everyday photography practices.

  • Video Logs - I'll often put up videos of myself talking about important issues or of song covers and original songs written and sung by me.

Well that's a little bit of what I hope to bring to my followers and subscribers and I hope that really gives you an idea of what I'm hoping to accomplish. If you have any questions, concerns, suggestions, or you just wanna chat, feel free to message or e-mail me; the info is on my 'Contact Me' page. I like to hear what you have to say!!

Thanks!

The Life and the Times of Justin Bacon: Introductions

Every soul has a way that it expresses itself, whether it be through art, music, culinary prowess, or plumbing, heating and air. No one should ever stray from the thing that they truly love, they should embrace it and mold their passion.

This is something I live by everyday and one could say it is how I describe my life in a summarily short way. However, no one wants to dive into a post about someone just to find out that they still know nothing about them. So, I think I'll entertain you all, just a bit.

My name is Justin Bacon, I live in the southern city/state of Swannanoa, North Carolina. I know it sounds like the Samoan name of some native wildlife, but I assure you it's a town. I am a part time college student, striding towards my goals to become an aspiring artist...and maybe a few other things along the way. I love singing and music, which is why I intend to audition for American Idol this following season. I love to write and see stories unfold before my very eyes, despite how challenging sitting down and writing a book can be, but, it is all worth it in the end. I'm in the process of writing my first zombie novel (which I'll talk a bit more about in another post). You could say I have many passions, and that is why I love the life I was blessed with.

After I get my two year degree in Fine Arts, I hope to travel to Clemson University, in Clemson, South Carolina and take part in their Japanese language courses, perhaps even study abroad in Japan. I love everything about the Japanese people, I love their culture, their language, and I especially love their food (delicious).

Unfortunately Japan is shambles due to the unexpected twenty foot tsunami that crashed against their home a few weeks ago. If you are interested in donating to help aid Japan in its dire times, please follow this link https://american.redcross.org/site/Donation2?idb=0&5052.donation=form1&df_id=5052 to the American Red Cross Association's page for Japan earthquake relief. Donating ten dollars could help them more than you know.

That's enough from me for right now, if you have any questions, suggestions, concerns, or you simply want to say 'What's up?!' then please leave a comment, e-mail, or message me on YIM. Don't forget to check out my post explaining what I'll be doing in this blog all the while explaining a bit more about myself.

Arigatou Gozaimasu!
